Bitcasa、無料プラン廃止で完全有料化
容量無制限のオンラインストレージとして有名だった「Bitcasa」の無料プランが廃止されました。
Bitcasaとは？
Bitcasaは、米Bitcasa, Inc.が提供するオンラインストレージサービスです。
サービス開始当初は容量無制限のオンラインストレージを格安で提供することで注目を浴びていましたが、その後値上げが行われ、2014年には無制限プラン自体が廃止されていました。
無料プラン廃止と完全有料化
Bitcasaは、2016年4月7日をもって無料プランの廃止を行うことを公式ブログで発表しました。
既に無料プランを利用していたユーザは、60日間限定のフリートライアルプランに自動的に移行されています。
移行が行われたユーザは、6月5日まで無料で使用することができます。
6月5日までに有料プランに移行しない場合は、データを含めアカウント自体が削除される予定となっています。
Bitcasa利用者の方で、まだデータのダウンロードを行っていない方は早急にダウンロードすることをおすすめします。
